As many know the 1971 Plymouth Cuda is a rare beast due to its very low production numbers in 1971. This car is 1 of only 2,008 340 automatic cars. The ’71 featured many 1 year only options including 4 headlights, cheese grater grille, gills on the fender, specific chrome moldings and billboards on the quarter panels.
This car features a 1970 color of Limelight to enhance its presence with a white interior. The car retains its old school styling as the appearance looks almost exactly stock with the only variation of a lower stance due to a 2” drop spindle in the front and 1” drop leaf springs in the rear and the 17” replica Ralleye wheels.
As with some cars which are numbers matching and worth significant values in stock form we can retain the numbers matching engine and transmission as we did with this 71 Cuda and utilizes a new fuel injection system and gear vendors overdrive system, aftermarket 6 piston Wilwood calipers and 13” rotors and Hotchkiss suspension and an integrated Vintage A/C unit. All of which could be put back to stock as no modifications are made to the body itself.
This is an early video of the car starting up and running before the billboards were put on.
